agaGOLDSTERN® LINSEED_

agaGOLDSTERN® golden linseed oil was exclusively cultivated for agaSAAT® and was approved in April 2015 by the Federal Plant Variety Office.

agaGOLDSTERN® linseed is grown on our own, carefully selected plots in Europe and is examined for purity, sensory characteristics, residues and microbiology in our own highly qualified laboratory as well as in external accredited laboratories. Furthermore, we check our linseed for possible traces of GMOs and their cadmium value. agaGOLDSTERN® linseed is available in both conventional and organic quality from agaSAAT®.

WHY agaGOLDSTERN® LINSEED?

agaGOLDSTERN® was initially cultivated to be used in the pharmaceutical industry and human medicine. Therefore, besides its impressive appearance, agaGOLDSTERN® scores well with respect to good grain quality and cultivation characteristics. The non-fibre linseed is characterised by above average rate of selling and a high thousand grain weight. Additionally, agaGOLDSTERN® linseed is quite tolerant to adverse weather conditions before harvest. Therefore, agaGOLDSTERN® linseed retains its golden colour and grain quality despite poor weather conditions.

Compared to other linseed varieties, when processed into linseed oil, linseed from agaGOLDSTERN® has a very salubrious and mild aroma. agaGOLDSTERN®, linseed flour, with its golden appearance and a slightly nutty flavour, is a unique addition to any pastry or muesli and gives a special twist to gluten-free baked goods. Unprocessed agaGOLDSTERN® linseed used as decoration or mixed into your breakfast muesli adds plenty of taste and pizazz to your day.
